Sheena’s name was announced on the forum and she reached to receive the award. The hall was
echoing with the sounds of applause. Sheena was very happy, and why not? She not only
appeared for the first time in the U.P.S.C exam, but also secured second rank! She was honored
by the chief guest.
The chief guest blessed Sheena and said, "Oh! Daughter, oh! You have done it, daughters are the
pride of a country! You have won my heart. Sheena smiled, and said that the credit for this went
to her mother. She is the one who has taught me to work hard. So I’m going to invite my mother
on the stage.
The chief guest was surprised to see her mother. She was his wife. Sheena’s mother came down

very well.”
